I am concerned not only with radiologica protection and the aftermath of accidents, but also on the psychological health of individuals following an accident.
Having worked 8 years at the IAEA and 2 years on a Chernobyl-related project in country, ICRP must carefully balance radiological / cancer health risk against stress-related risk which was far too prevelant following the Chernobyl accident.
